The Attorney General’s Office has established certain email boxes to be used for designated purposes in complying with Florida state court eservice requirements, pursuant to Rule 2.516, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration. These email boxes are not to be used when the assistant attorney general who has appeared in the case has designated another email box to be used to e-serve documents in a particular case. Rather, these email boxes are to be used to e-serve the OAG with papers under limited circumstances, as described below:

General Civil Litigation

1. oag.civil.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is to be used in the following circumstances:

  • To provide notice of a constitutional challenge to a statute, charter, ordinance or franchise, pursuant to Section 86.091, Fla. Stat. (2012); Rule 1.071, Florida Rules of Civil Procedure; Rule 5.1(a)(2), Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; and Title 28 U.S.C. § 2403.
  • In a civil action where the OAG has been named as a party, appropriate service of initial process has been made, but there has been no appearance on behalf of the OAG.
  • By all branches of Florida state government to transmit potential or new cases to the OAG.


2. oag.foreclose.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is to be used if the State of Florida is named as a Defendant in a foreclosure action in the following circumstances:

  • This email box is only to be used after appropriate service of process against the state has been perfected by both serving the state attorney or assistant state attorney for the judicial circuit in which the action is brought and by sending two copies of the process by registered or certified mail to the Attorney General. §48.121, Fla. Stat. (2012).
  • To serve any papers and pleadings filed in a foreclosure action, after service of initial process, where the State of Florida is named as a party.


3. oag.cse2.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is only to be used for service of any pleadings filed in Department of Revenue child support cases in the Second Judicial Circuit which includes the following counties: Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Wakulla.


4. oag.cse6.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is only to be used for service of any pleadings filed in Department of Revenue child support cases in the Sixth Judicial Circuit which includes the following counties: Pasco, Pinellas.


5. oag.cse12.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is only to be used for service of any pleadings filed in Department of Revenue child support cases in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit which includes the following counties: Desoto, Sarasota.


6. oag.cse13.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is only to be used for service of any pleadings filed in Department of Revenue child support cases in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for Hillsborough County.


7. oag.cse17.eserve@myfloridalegal.com

This e-serve box is only to be used for service of any pleadings filed in Department of Revenue child support cases in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit for Broward County.
