Under Chapter 287.059(13), Florida Statutes, the Office of the Attorney General is authorized to competitively bid and contract with one or more court reporting services, on a circuit-wide basis, on behalf of all state agencies. These contracts allow state agencies to procure, at a low price, such services without the administrative efforts necessary to select and hire court reporting services individually.
